Loved the historic feel of the hotel and the view of the courthouse out of our windows. Our room was clean and efficient. Bed was comfy but we rolled into middle a little. Lighting was lacking but the attendant brought us an extra lamp which worked fine. Operation of heaters was a little difficult to figure out. Breakfast was lite but sufficient. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

While we love staying at William Watson and have stayed there several times, we realize it might not be everyone's choice. The building is over 100 yrs. old and though it has certainly been modernized, it's not like staying in a new hotel. If you love the history and don't mind climbing the stairs, you'll love it.

Historic Hotel Hit a Home Run
We had such a great experience here. When we checked in, the owner of the hotel gave us great dining recommendations as well as a few historical sites we should see. When visiting Pittsfield, staying here is a must! Also, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in years.
