First impressions of the room I was given were disappointing. I dropped off my bags in the room only to discover the door was not locking (placing my valuables at risk). The door was repaired same day, but the more I used the room features the more I discovered poor furniture, equipment and bedding. There was a film of dust in the room which gave the appearance it had not been recently used, and was noticeable when I went to bed and started itching. Room wall and windows were dirty, bathroom and lamps appeared water damaged, refrigerated malfunctioned, room was next to a noisy ventilation system, and worst of all for a business client the internet went down in the entire building for and entire afternoon (6 hours), and on same days it was off 15-30 minutes. Do I need to say more?

Perfect sense for a quick stay close to airport
Best choice for a quick stay close to the airport. We spent two separate nights before and after our trip to Chapada Diamantina and it was what made most sense as it is right next to the airport (tip: use an app to get there and not a taxi). Rooms are comfortable and much superior to Ibis, which is right next to it (and which we also paid for a day use at the same day to use as home office). That being said, it is far from everything you may want to visit in Salvador, so probably not your choice if you are looking to spend time here.
