Nice Stay
Location is very good. Restaurant only open from 8am-12pm. Parking is subject to availability. When we arrived there was no parking so nearest parking not the hotels was 80pesos daily. Was not bad. Since you are so close to the centro it is very busy with cars and people outside the hotel. I would havayrf higher if the receptionist would look at me when asked questions, she acted like she knew and was to much to look at us while asked questions.

I absolutely fell in love with Patzcuaro! The hotel we stayed was comfortable. We decided to stay there because it was near to el centro. But the service we got from the people was lovely!

The hotel staff is very nice hotel. The hotel is super clean and nice. The only downfall was when I booked it I put 1 adult 1 child because it said adults 18 and up. But when we got to the hotel they said that 16-year-olds are considered adult so I had to pay more there.

Good value, great location, but noisy
Very convenient to Patzcuaro Centro, short walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The local tianguis is 100 feet from the door. It was also well priced, we paid $39 per night, The interior is pretty, kind of a modernized colonial look. The room was clean and comfortable, though it could have done with a chair to sit in. There is parking underneath the hotel, literally, you drive in to the front and down the ramp, walk up the ramp to reception. You emerge via the parking area and climb the stairs to reception. The free parking is limited, and they post signs saying parking is not guaranteed to be available. Street parking is a challenge nearby, though we spotted a public lot a few doors away. Things we did not like as much - the design is a long, 2-story collonade from front to back of the building, and rooms face this open space. The back area is a courtyard where they serve breakfast (not included) in the morning. Our room was above that courtyard, and had a narrow glass-paned double door that opened to the courtyard. By 8 am, families and groups buzzed in the breakfast area, and it was anything but quiet. After the first night, we requested a fan and with it running we heard nothing else (including the TV!). There was also apparently no ice to be had on premise, nor a bucket to put it in, which would have been nice at least for the ice we bought at Oxxo nearby.

3 days in Patzcuaro
We arrived too early for check in at 3 pm but the front desk personnel stored our luggage while we went exploring. The hotel was spectacular, comfortable rooms with modern conveniences, in a 15th century setting. Love this hotel!

Great location in Patzcuaro
The hotel is in a great location for walking the area. Has good parking if you need it. The breakfast is OK and the service a little slow. Ask for a quiet room because the ones on the main corridor and around the breakfast patio are nousy. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. The personnel is outstanding. The nightly taco stands down the street are a bonus.

Near the Market
Our first impression of Patzcuaro was not terribly positive but once we got out walking and became familiar with the streets and landmarks we had an enjoyable two days there. The market area is crowded and lively; the street food is great. The hotel had a good location and friendly staff. The huge King bed was great, but we were not happy about our room having only one window high up on the wall, with no view. However, several of the rooms had windows that opened onto the attractive central corridor of the Mision.
