Cheap and friendly hotel
Overall it was a good experience for the money spent, the shower water was cold and the floor was stained in the hallway however I am happy with my experience and would stay here again! The security made me feel safe and the staff was very friendly!

Clean! Very good for price
Very very clean, they cleaned the washrooms quite regularly. Downsides: bed wasn't very comfortable and walls were quite thin. You could hear the toilet flush across the hall.

Even for that rate, still disappointing...
Single paned window, facing the busy Granville street, that are so old they don't close entirely. On top of that, numerous bars downstairs which means shouting, smoking etc until the early hours of the morning. As if that weren't enough, the room next to me watched some music tv station playing rap all night long... I've stayed in all kinds of hotels, from upscale to budget and this is a cheap place, at an excellent location but the state it is in doesn't even justify the rate being that low. I was honestly surprised the sheets were clean... that kind of experience it was... happy that i stayed only 1 night.
