Issues of Privacy and Cleanliness
My husband and I decided to stay in the Designer room for our anniversary trip. The size of the room is perfect, the amenities are great. Expect, the windows of our rooms are right next to the restaurant's patio area, the people from the restaurant can clearly see inside our room from the windows. We have to keep our windows shut the whole time. I think this is very lamed because the bathtub decided to sit next to the window so you are able to enjoy the view while taking a nice bath. We can't even open the window due to privacy reason for our whole staying :/ Also, please check the bathrobe before you use it. Although it wrapped with the plastic bag so it looks like it's clean. I found an unknown hair stick on the robe, it was pretty gross. We paid a lot extra for a better room, we thought that the room should be much cleaner. I guess we are wrong. I would only recommend this room if you don't care about the cleanliness of the room.

Shinjuku Granbell ga dai suki desu
I stay here whenever in Tokyo. It’s a great hotel. Clean, rooms are relatively large (for Tokyo), great rooftop lounge (not cheap, but not too bad for the area), great selection in the vending machines.

Weak WiFi
The WiFi connection is so weak. I expect a much better connection for the WiFi in room.

Great quality for the price.
Very solid hotel for the price. Quick walk to the big attractions of Shinjuku, including the Golden Gai. Rooms are very small, but that's to be expected in Tokyo. Very friendly staff, especially the room service/cleaning folks. :) :) :)

Tight space
This hotel has a lot going for it: superb service, location and restaurant. But the room size was absurdly small. I've been to Japan 14 times but the room layout and tiny size meant there was zero space for a suitcase and you literally had to walk over the bed to cross the room as the room width was the width of the bed!
