Great stay in Tokyo
Love the location, very convenient. Rooms are small but as expected for Japanese standards. Clean and reliable

Not so safe safe...
Everything with the hotel and staff was fine... However I left a value item in the safe when I left and called the next day to ask about it. apparently nothing was found:/

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel
Good stay overall.
You can stay on the east side of Shinjuku and access to vibrant areas for foods and drinks. Several amusement facilities are available around this hotel, like Karaoke and movie theatre. It is in a good location overall but if you look into the quiet stay in a reasonable price, you should take this option. It’s quite noisy and busy over here. When it comes to the room, the room that we stayed was pretty clean and tidy. Various amenity goods are available in the room. Although we stayed 2 night in this hotel, a room make-up service wasn’t completed enough. We chose the non-smoking room but provided towels and bath mat smelled like cigarettes badly. It was quite disappointing us with the smell after shower.

Great Modern Hotel, Great Price
Great value and fairly new and modern clean hotel. Location is a bit weird but easy to access via subway.

Best Boutique Hotel in Shinjuku
Easily one of the coolest designed hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The best feature to me was the soaking tub with a view high above Kabukicho. Don’t skimp on picking your room — spoil yourself with a king bed and enjoy a convenient buffet breakfast in the morning!
