Good place to stay downtown.
I was very satisfied with every aspect of my stay, it was a good place centrally located in the town. The room space is sufficient for my purpose which is safe, comfortable, clean and quiet. A communal washroom is just something im not used to but its ok. For the price of it its very fair.

Love the price and location as always and will stay there again. Buffet breakfast was hotel-quality, good selection. But I was disappointed I couldn't check in at 2:10 pm, 50 mins. before official check in and over 3 hrs after official check out. Most available rooms would have been cleaned by then. They didn't have to accommodate me, but it would have been nice.

Some good, some bad
It was very close to nearby subway stations such as St George and streetcars through Spadina, as well as having many places to eat. Kensington Market is also close as well as Queen St W, so there are many places to shop. The wifi connection was terrible and constantly cut out and had to reconnect throughout my stay. Although the people at the front desk were very hospitable, they were across the street so it sometimes felt like I was left to fend for myself. For a university residence, the bathrooms were ridiculously subpar, both in the cleanliness and upkeep. I would recommend to stay here only if you need a place to crash as it is quiet and private, but this is more like a cheap hostel than a residence experience.

It was as expected and a good deal. It's a college dorm. Great location. Front desk was polite and efficient. Bathrooms in the dorm need some updating. Most importantly: Sinks and shower drains need a good cleaning so they drain better. They get used heavily in school year and probably are loaded with hair, etc. especially with beard trimming.
