Stolen Item from Room
Stolen Dress. This is how I would describe my stay here.. I took out a brand new dress (with tags) to wear for a beach day, but choose to wear a different dress and put the new dress into my luggage. When I came back at the end of the day, the dress with the tags (placed in my luggage) was missing. Front desk called up our housekeeping, and the woman (my same size) denied ever seeing it. They asked if I misplaced it. I may have thought I was crazy, but I specifically took out the dress and held it up to show my husband - so both of us knew it was stolen when it was just "gone". I was told I would get a call from management but no call and when I reached out, they never replied. Very disappointing to not feel safe with your personal belongings at a hotel. Otherwise, beds were hard, rooms were tiny, and the "bar" closed at 10pm for the night. I was ok to look past all that for the price and location, but the stolen item and no real help afterwards really upset me. I would NOT recommend unless you feel comfortable knowing that the housekeeping or someone else with access to the rooms are shady.

Property was great, breakfast was good. Need to heat the eggs, very cold daily. Wish I had booked through the hotel instead of Expedia. Expedia is a nightmare and I will never book with them again. They cost my $2855 by accidentally booking the wrong location (who knew there were two Santa Margarita Italy's), I called within 15 minutes of my mistake and they wouldn't cxl. I'm now fighting this with my credit card and Expedia. Be careful with Expedia....

Poor end to an otherwise fabulous trip to Tuscany
Sorry to be critical, but we found this hotel far from satisfactory. Our main criticisms were as follows: 1) the receptionist was not helpful; 2) the carpet in our room corridor was badly stained in many places; 3) the bar was not manned in the afternoon; 4) the mattress was thin; 5) the pool was closed with the stated reason due to "COVID" ... whereas we stayed at 2 other hotels in Tuscany without any issue with the pool

Disappointed.
This hotel was a disaster,pool was closed,rusty fitting around pool area,also tripping hazards around pool area.No fire escape plan in room.Large balcony door would not close properly ,was fixed when reported.No bike hire,no remote for TV when we got one TV would not work,no shampoo or shower gel for 2 days,when i asked i got it.Ireported all these faults to reception lady took note but i was not in any compensate. There did not seem to be any mangement in this hotel.Also bar does not open till 7 in the evening. We did not eat in hotel. I feel sorry for reception staff who where helpful and fed up i would say,met a few people who aslo had problems in hotel.Very disappointed as i booked this hotel because it had a pool so we could relax.
