A room with a view - very pleasant stay!
We enjoyed our stay at family owned Pointsettia Apts! The apt was large with a lovely harbor view, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us a basket of goodies with coffee, breakfast items, and even brought us a homegrown mango. Pool was perfect. Thank you to all who made our stay so pleasant! Would absolutely stay there again. AC in bedroom was fine.

Quiet retreat
Castries - why not make this your base for your St Lucia trip? Take a taxi from UVF or better still helicopter in in 15 minutes. Once settled you could then rent a vehicle or use taxis to explore the easily reached northern part of the island; there are many choices for organised trips further afield to avoid some tricky driving. Whatever you do stay at Poinsettia Villa Apartments where the ethos of the owner Margaux and her team is to ensure you enjoy your stay just the way you like it, without being intrusive in any way. The spacious apartments are exceptional; towels & linen of good quality; air-conditioning in the bedrooms, fans in living room; good wifi; modern bathrooms with plentiful hot water for showers; kitchen equipment enough for diy dining; their website shows everything in detail but the kindness and thoughtfulness has to be experienced. The apartments are situated on a hill overlooking Vigie bay; the town and supermarket is an easy walk using a short cut (I'm an arthritic 80 year old and walked nearly every day); Vigie beach a bit further; (there is an Hibiscus Trolley Train that will take you around). I don't usually write reviews but our 8 night stay was made so enjoyable not only by the accommodation but especially may I say friendship extended to us by Margaux and her team - thank you so much. Book this place with every confidence, you will not regret it.

The owner went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed and that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. This quiet, little gem boasts a beautiful sea view and I highly recommend it for either personal or business travel.

Very Enjoyable Stay
We really enjoyed our 7 days at the Poinsettia Villa Apartments. The spacious villa had all of the conveniences and has an outdoor pool as well as a conveniently located large outdoor terrace with a harbour view in which to relax and enjoy a coffee. We felt very safe and supported by warm, welcoming staff who were readily available to provide advice and respond to our needs. The location close to the downtown area is very convenient. Days in Paradise
My husband and I enjoyed the Villa. Our check in started rocky as we arrived on a Sunday as a late and since we booked it last minute and this Villa is not a franchise and not a 24/7 operation. However, Margaux, the owner, and Phillipe, a worker, we're there to greet us soon made us feel welcome. Our apartment was cleaned and we were gifted with a welcome package with a mango from the facilities very own garden.We were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary.The air conditioner was in the bedroom and a fan was is the living area. If you choose the windows can be shut and the fan cooled the living area with the air from the bedroom. We kept the windows open.Phillipe took us to the grocery store free of charge and we cooked most of our food. Margaux also took us to the gas station. The Villa is located right by a port and the view to it is fantastic from the terrace.Phillipe gave us a tour of Margaux's family garden. George, another worker,chopped down some sugar cane for us.We loved our stay so much that we stayed an extra day.Poinsettia Villa supplied the laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, etc.My husband and I highly suggest this Apartment. You won't be a room number, you are an individual. I suggest you contact Margaux to arrange their taxi service, Phillipe drove us safely.Whenever we go to St. Lucia, we are staying at Poinsettia Villa.Thank you Margaux, Phillipe, George and the two beautiful ladies who always greeted us with a smile

Apartment on the Hill.
Very friendly and cooperative landlady. bedroom and kitchen of good size. Attention to details and plenty of good will.Slightly overpriced and could do with some modernisation. Overall a good place to stay - but. Some degree of fitness is necessary to negotiate the difficult and slippery terrain that leads to the apartment, or take a very long tour to get to town.

A fantastic retreat at a decent price
The Villa was lovely, and a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the big, all inclusive resorts. Margaux and her staff were very warm and accommodating. The apartment was clean and bright, and had everything that we needed. Phillipe (the maintenance man) even picked us up at the airport and took us to get groceries on our first day there. A memorable experience!

It is OK.
We stayed at apt #3, 2 bedrooms. Internet connection is good. The apt is very clean. The amenities in the apt are old, some not working properly, for example, the shower faucet in the main bath, one of the drying cycle on the dryer. Hot water runs out if 2 people take shower at the same time. A/C is only in bedrooms, not in living room. To us it is too warm. During our 5 nights stay, there is no housekeeping. there are two sets of towel for each person. but consider one for the pool one for shower, 5 days straight the towels are no longer clean. We wish the owner could have provided laundry detergent so we can wash ourselves. We were told to contact the repairman or the owner. The repairman never picked up our call; owner replied to all our text messages.
