Verify room with number of guests.
Booked a room for 5 people, only 2 queen beds. No WiFi signal. Room was clean and front staff friendly, but paying $330 for 1 night I would expect Al 5 people to have a place to sleep. Not happy about that at all.

They need work
They had no record the Hotels.com paid them after I paid hotels.com so it took took long to check In. Also had too much trouble with the new door locks

4/10 Fair

Served its purpose
Its name fits. Smelled very old and closed up. Everything in room was very dated like it was from Elizabethan times. Nothing was open. Gym was closed as well as indoor pool.

Just Okay Stay
I had high hopes for the Elizabeth Inn after eating at the restaurant that used to be attached to the hotel during a previous visit to Manteo. I expected the space to be dated (which it was) but clean (which it was not). When we arrived the front desk staff was great. Very welcoming and helpful! The room we checked into was on the ground floor closest to the main entrance. The room had a very strong smell to it like mildew and moth balls and the tv was zip tied together and not working properly. We asked the front desk to change rooms and they were amazing and very accommodating. The second room was on the second floor. When we entered the area where the elevator was it had that same smell as the first room, I think it was on most of the ground floor. The second room had its own issues, mostly bugs. We found a roach in the mini fridge so we didn’t feel comfortable storing open food anywhere in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. Overall with the dated technology and the weird musty smell I would likely not stay here again.

An older property, but very comfortable and convenient for visiting the sights on Roanoke, the Wright Brothers Memorial (great place!) and the National Seashore. Lots of great seafood places.

It was a nice stay, no housekeeping service due to it being off season, I guess. Not a big deal for me. Staff at check in was super nice. Indoor pool was closed for renovations. Overall, I would stay here again!

Very comfortable but needs an update
Hotel is in need of an update, reminded me of the 60's. Some lights didnt work, shower wall patched with what looks like glue. I do have to say the bed was so comfortable that i slept like a rock, and i haven't done that in years. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful in answering all my questions.
Bathroom needs upgrade
Welcome to the 60s
