Nice hotel, stupid bathroom door

The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly. My main problem was with the layout in the hotel. The bathroom door had a barn door style sliding door. Immediately upon entering the room I went to use the bathroom. The door stuck a bit and I pulled the handle with force. My finger got smashed in between the wall and the sliding door. I had a feeling it was broken. It swelled immediately with blood blisters and bruising. We were in town for a baseball game and the injury delayed us getting to the game. I was also in some considerable pain for the next few hours. I got ice from the front desk and the guy was very nice. When I got back to my hometown I went to the urgent care and confirmed the finger was broken. Stupid design for a door and I really didn’t expect an injury like this, especially in a hotel that cost $500 a night.
