Decent newly built, on the main street and about 15 minute walk to the entrance to the National Park trails. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Wi-Fi was okay.
The water was shut off after midnight and the pipes kept making weird noises, keeping us up all night. We later found out that water had gone out in the whole town.
Its less than a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Taxis in El Chalten are expensive as is everything else.
We had dinner 2 nights at the restaurant. Though the food was good, and the service was good, we (wife and I) got sick with stomach cramps after our 2nd dinner.
We couldn't try the breakfast, as we left for hikes early in the morning.
A coffee maker and a fan in the room would have been nice.
The room and bathroom were good size, with adequate seating and great views of Mt Fitzroy.
