Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York, an IHG Hotel

-The "view" from the room just showcased the service area of some restaurants, we didn't see any of the skyline or even the streets. -The room smelled like weed when we checked in and we could still smell it the day after even if it wasn't as strong. -There was no hand soap or lotion in the bathroom -We stayed two nights and they never came to clean the room. Not sure if its some new policy due to covid but we had not received any info about this.

We specifically picked this hotel because of the beautiful advertised roof top. When we arrived, we were told that the roof is only accessible through a bar that is not affiliated with the hotel and that guests have no priority for reservations (it was booked for the entirety of our stay). When we asked if we were able to go up to the roof to see the view/ sit when the bar was not open they said that that was not an option and that coming up without a reservation was at the discretion of the bar when we would go up there. This was a shame as we fully picked this hotel for the roof and may have chosen a different hotel if we knew it was not accessible. The hotel could have had more transparency regarding this feature. The room was larger than your average hotel room in NYC but underwhelming with some obvious wear and tear (scuff marks on the walls, finicky shower etc). Overall, it was a comfortable stay for the price we paid but just a little disappointed about the amenities.

Using blow dryer and flat iron caused to much smoke which made the alarm go off . Other than that very nice

I live in the neighborhood but we had to leave our apartment overnight. Our stay was absolutely delightful—immaculate and comfortable, and in 24 hours, I felt like I actually got a little vacation in. I completely appreciated that our dog was welcome, and even my teenage son had to admit it was a nice break from home!

The room I was in wasn’t the cleanest and the furniture in the room looked worn and things seemed out of place. The staff was super friendly and the location was convenient. The pictures make the rooms look better then they really are and also they do not provide parking, but there is a parking garage next door that you pay for.

First of all may I say; this was me and my fiancé’s second stay and we absolutely loved it once again, probably more this time than the first. The communication between front desk and us was remarkable. Our bar cart wasn’t working and you guys accommodated in the best ways possible . You guys even went above and beyond and provided us with a small heater which made the terrace experience more comfortable!!!! I’d recommend this hotel to as much people as I possibly can, and this is where my fiancé and I spent our engagement , thank you for holding a special place in our hearts. We will definitely be returning again very soon.

Loved the hotel’s location. Perfect to walk to restaurants and the subway and bus. The room felt small. City view was more of a view of the apartments below doing construction. Overhead rain shower did not work. Queens bed felt more like a double. I was pleased with how clean the room and location was.

I was amazing the terrace room is the best one minor problem and they fixed it ...don’t forget to ask for a fridge and try it out before using ...bathroom was clean room was clean gave us a blanket so we can enjoy they terrace in New York ...close to sweet chicks ...claw daddy’s...and Sanloco....we had a car and found parking and paid 10.75 on the street around the corner ...roof top Mr purple was good get the waffle fries and casamigo frozen drink ....will be back thanks for the kind staff and amazing service
