Complicated check in but apartment was nice.
Building hallways/stairways were super dirty but apartment itself was clean and well equipped. Check in is in another hotel several blocks away. You must ask for return of deposit as they take it as full charge and not pre-authorization.

Poor Management but almost like home
They gave us a room that smelled like cigarettes and we asked for non smoking. I called before moving all our stuff in they say they will clean it up and no one came during the 7 days we stayed or moved us to a different room. The location is great, kitchen does the job and it was quiet, a nice feature is the laundry.

near down town of Ottawa and able to walk over hot water for shower took forever and cant adjust room was clean just strong smell of paint biggest surprise was when we got home and see on line that hotel made extra charges Feb 14 for 136.85 ??? call hotel just French to leave message Call VISA and they fix it for us even we paid extra to have breakfest have been told it s not available and no credits are given to us told us to talk to Expedia Would not recommend it to anyone for the reason of extra charge and false advertisement If I did not check on time wonder how difficult would be and paid extra for not available breakfast

The unit was old and a little beat up, but it was clean and comfortable. In the morning, I had a luke warm shower for about 20 seconds before the water turned cold! Then I found out that there was no hair dryer, so I had cold, wet hair to visit Winterlude. It definitely wasn't ideal.
