Well I booked my hotel in June, since I was traveling to an international trade show scheduled in October. I paid in full for the hotel. My reservation said that it was non-refundable. My credit card company called to confirm the payment and I paid the credit card bill. I arrived after a very long flight from the USA to this hotel. I arrived at 6:15pm in the afternoon and it clearly says that you must call to check in after this time (there are no people there to help you). I called the number and they let me in the building and I was told to go get my keys that were on a table inside. There is no lobby in this hotel, only a stairwell. I found that there was an envelope there with a key in it but the name was not mine. I called them back and they said to call the owner. I couldn't reach them and finally they called me. The owner told me that he needed to check with orbitz. In the meantime I called orbitz and they confirmed that I had paid and had a valid reservation. The owner called me back and said that he had sold my reservation since he did not get paid, and that I do not have a reservation anymore and there are no rooms. I told him that I was holding my reservation in my hand and that I had paid. He told me that I did not, and then began to argue with me over the phone about this. I highly recommend that you DO NOT stay at this hotel. They are a scam and they will take your money. DO NOT BE FOOLED!
