On arriving check in was good got out parking voucher which was only £2.00 arrived to our room on the very top floor a lot of stairs to climb as theirs no lift room was like a attic room was very dated and very cold curtains had not even been put up they were lying on a chair. The sink in the bathroom was dirty and had hair over it in the room theirs was a door that lead to a damp dingy area which had no carpet and their was wook tools etc lying in it .we went down to the reception and said to her and she was very helpful and moved our room straight away much better room but again is very dated they are under going work and u can smelly fresh paint around. Breakfast is served between 7 till 8.30 which was very tasty and a good standard check out is 10.30 a bit early but was fine for us

    Great Hotel and Location!

I really enjoyed my Ten Night Stay! The staff was excellent and my single room was comfortable! The breakfast was great too! I looked forward to the breakfast every morning! The location of the Hotel is great! Lots of restaurants and carry outs within walking distance. Also there is bus service where the stops are a few steps from the hotel. I would stay there again!

Good Value, Clean, Convenient, No Hassle.

Although not strictly central was only 10-15 minute straight walk along Sauchiehall Street to Buchanan Street and main shopping area, train stations etc. Excellent value for money clean, simple, free WiFi, full breakfast options. No complaints would definitiely use again.

    AVOID AVOID AVOID

    1. I booked a room for our trip with my wife and a 10-year-old daughter almost 10days before our trip. We were offered a room on the first floor. Being a very old place, THERE IS NO LIFT IN THE HOTEL. So, we had to carry our baggage and suitcase all by ourselves. Not only us, but a lot of elderly people were also having difficulty going up and down the hotel especially as rooms are either on the first or second floor and breakfast served in the basement. 2. The room which was offered was a good size but had been RECENTLY PAINTED. It had a lot of freshly painted enamel smell, irritating the nose as well as eyes. I requested a room change but was informed that it is the only room available. On seeing my angry mood, I was offered another room which had a window which was leaking!!! Of course, I rejected the offer. 3. THERE IS NO DOUBLE GLAZING IN THE WINDOWS which has window frames of wood. This results in cold, noise and draft coming into the room. The curtains also do not help. This also results in a lot of outside noise coming into the room. At night one can hear any Tom, Dick, and Harry talking outside on the street in addition to the road/traffic noise. 4. A small 21inches TV in an era of SMART TVs!! Remote was broken with no cover over batteries but they had been secured in place by a tape! 5. NO CUTLERY IN ROOM.No forks, no spoon, and knife. 6. NO HAIRDRYER OR IRON in the room. 7. OLD FASHIONED SMALL TILE, PALE COLOURED BATHROOM with tiny soap bars for use! There was

The location was good for the price. However when we arrived our bathroom was dirty and it looked as though the sheets had not been changed. The worst part however, was trying to sleep at night. The beds themselves were rock hard, but that wasn't the main problem. Being that our windows looked out into the main road our room was loud the entire night. Constantly people were yelling outside our window to the point where it sounded as though they were inside. None of us got a good, uninterrupted sleep the entire weekend.

Great location but hotel wasnt ideal. Hairdryer had melted, Heating hardly worked. We were given a room that wreaked of paint and were then given another which was cold with very thin curtains. That said, staff were freindly and allowed an early check in
