Perfect one night stay
This is a great find right by Pier 39. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a great courtyard. There’s also a restaurant and bar with a decent selection of beer for you craft beer lovers. The room was perfect and love all the funky decor in the room and through out the hotel. Would I stay here again, in a heart beat!!

Terrible Room
Be careful which room they place you in. Do NOT stay in room 2041. It was a makeshift room they somehow added in to create more availability - it's *directly* next to the elevator, literally, it couldn't be closer, and the bathroom seems to be some old, mechanical closet that they converted into a bathroom. It was so tiny we couldn't sit on the toilet without our knees going into the tub. The bathroom was 20 degrees COLDER than the rest of the room, and visiting in November meant shivering in the bathroom while trying to get ready for bed. Forget about counter space, there was about 5 inches of counter space next to the sink in the tiny bathroom. The room itself was situated directly next to the elevator, and the view outside was of the front bumpers of cars approx. 6 inches from the window pane. The outlets conveniently placed on the bedside tables didn't work, and pulled right out of their holes. There were holes in our sheets, and the room was dark. The room and bathroom had poor ventilation, so the room smelled musty and moldy. There were remnants of black mold in the bathroom next to the tub that didn't drain well, so I'm not surprised. After checking out the hotel room - I called the front desk and asked if we could switch rooms. I'm a light sleeper, and being that close next to the elevator would be an issue. They let us know they didn't have any rooms left except those with full size beds for the night, so we stuck it out.

Stay elsewhere!!
This hotel is in a good location, but that’s about it. The hotel has an overall musty and old smell. The bathroom had cracked caulking and mold on the bath tub. The first day that the room was “cleaned”, it was a joke- the left the wet towels on top of the bed, didn’t empty the garbage, and put all the pillows behind the TV..?? I called to advise the front desk and the person just laughed and asked “what do you want me to do?” The walls are incredibly thin and you are awoke at all hours of the night by opening and closing of doors and sliders.

Great Place!
The hotel was great as always. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great! We decided to book a room with a view this time and it was beautiful. I do have to say that the bathtub was a little slippery.
