We had a lovely stay at the Modern Hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the street below. My only comment would be that the pillows could be more comfortable or even just more of them. Regardless, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff and a perfect location. We fell in love with Antibes so will definitely be back.

The price you pay for this hotel with its location is worth its weight in gold. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Location is the most important thing when choosing a hotel and Modern is the best in Antibes for location. The hotel is run by really nice people. The breakfast is lovely for €7. It’s in the heart of Antibes so don’t expect a day in bed, I would save money on more expensive hotels and spend it on the delights of this beautiful part of the world. And I didn’t get a single mosquito bite!

Pleasant hotel in good location.
Hotel is in a good location. Room cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. Friendly staff. It is an old hotel which adds to its charm and everything was neat and tidy. One small complaint is that the pillows are too hard.

This hotel was really disappointing and gross. The paint on the walls were chipped. There were black stains above the air conditioner like there was mold. The air conditioner barely worked and the rooms felt constantly stuffy and muggy. The hotel lobby and hallways was dark with poor lighting. The lighting flickered and the plumbing made strange noises. Yes it was inexpensive but I wouldn’t book again. You could get a bigger cleaner room on Airbnb for the same price.

Great little hotel well situated for old Antibes plus train station to get you to Monaco, Cannes and Nice … all along the Cotes d’Azur. It’s a little basic but exceptionally clean and friendly people. The perfect base if you want to go exploring.
