10/10 Exceptional

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at Waterton Park Hotel! 🏰✨ We did have a bit of a rocky start at check-in, but huge credit to the team as they quickly rectified everything and completely turned our experience around. The spa was easily one of the highlights of the whole weekend! The hot tubs were amazing, and being able to properly relax and enjoy the spa facilities in such a beautiful setting made the stay feel like a real getaway. We absolutely loved it and could have happily spent hours in there! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the grounds and setting are stunning, and the whole place has such a lovely atmosphere. Once we were settled in, we had such a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. What impressed us most was how quickly the team responded to our initial concerns. Things don’t always go perfectly, but how somewhere handles an issue says a lot, and they made sure our initial experience didn’t put a dampener on the weekend at all. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already wanting to come back. The spa and hot tubs alone are worth the visit! ❤️

6/10 Good

Staff and evening meal were lovely. Swimming £15 and £10 for adult and child for 2 hours. Ridiculous. Child not able to use anything in the spa other than the pool. No fridge or mini bar. Toiletries in a pump and basic. Buffet breakfast greasy and soggy. Staff lovely, evening meal lovely, the rest not on par with other 4* sorry.

2/10 Poor

Probably the worst hotel we have stayed, checked into room 63 dreadful room, dark, dirty, very bad mattress could feel springs. Lighting so bad, had to contact reception as bed was so uncomfortable, they brought a duvet up to put on top of bed. They had no spare rooms so had to stay in it for first night, asxsoon as we opened door couldn't work out what smell was, whatever it was it was making me sneeze. Checked into room 66 went to room hadn't been cleaned, this room was bigger but mattress yet again very uncomfortable and dipped in middle, lighting needs attention even with every light on its so dark. Bathroom ok but plaster and marks on ceiling. Very badly maintained. Couldn't use pool, only between 7am and 9am which I saw no mention of when I booked. Pillows were so bad, I was in Liverpool last week checked into holiday inn express, had a great sleep mattress and pillows very good quality, take note waterton park hotel!
