Disappointing
Property and rooms old and dated, rooms with two beds cramped, bathroom small, little counter space. TV "service" is unlike any i have seen, all is app based, and network/local channels were unavailable, and had to reset box twice just to get whatever "Pluto TV" app had to offer, as that was all that they offered. Desk chair back was very loos and wobbly, seat adjustment only raised it minimally from lowest position. Will not be staying here again.

It was ok. Nothing fancy. Horrible lighting. Could use updating but was ok we just needed a place to sleep.

Hasty smell
My pet friendly room was huge and we had a balcony, with a view of dirty canal and noisy road. The only thing I liked about the room is it is very spacious and bathtub is big, but that's it. Walls are very thin, I could hear everyone talking nextdoor and very noisy cars driving by. The worst part of my stay was smell! Nasty old smell of dirty carpet and mold, which I'm sure is under that carpet. I couldn't sleep without my face covering, it's the only way the smell was reduced. I didn't even want my dog sleeping on that carpet, so I woke up at night few times to ask her to sleep on the bed.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed there. It is quiet, clean & comfortable. The staff is very nice & accommodating. And I parked my car right in front of my room door.

Old School Best Western
Front desk staff is not super friendly. In fact, they made it very clear they prefer we book through them next time and not through Expedia. The two women who were working the desk are more like air traffic controllers than welcoming hospitality workers. It’s a mediocre and older model Best Western but good location across from campus and comfortable enough. Old school. Ladies at desk need to be way nicer. Also, less chastising no chastising about 3rd party booking. My wife also booked Best Western in Corvalis using Hotels.com. They also made a negative comment at checking, “Oh, you booked through Expedia? Hopefully you’ll book direct next time.” Don’t much appreciate that as a loyal Hotels.com customer. Happens routinely at check in.
