6/10 Good

Good place to stay on a budget
We have stayed at Panuco Hotel 6 nights and overall was a GOOD experience. For the price location is excellent; room was cleaned daily, quiet, decent food at downstairs restaurant. Although staff was not fluent in English we received help with taxi calls and other inquiries. Bed was a little too rigid (for our taste) yet livable-this is the reason for the 4* rating. An other mention- for people who like coffee in the morning- this hotel does not have coffee maker in room or lobby, so we walked down the street to XOXO store to buy one. Restaurant opens late (and stays open late!), closed Sundays. For breakfast, the easiest was to grab something at the street vendors just around the corner. Next visit to Mexico City we will use the same hotel- it was good for the money we paid.
