As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The resort manager was super nice and…
It was wonderful to enjoy sunset with an ocean view and wild wallabies running around.

Amazing views, very comfortable, friendly staff, so quiet and peaceful
Beautiful location with stunning views. Continental breakfast was the perfect start to the day. Lovely staff.
Fantastic views from our deck. Loved seeing the wallabies on the property. Room was very comfortable. Appreciated the complementary bottle of bubbles.
Beautiful, tranquil place for a complete get away from busy life. Close to Friendly Beaches, a must visit and the beautiful Wineglass Bay.
This should not be classified as a "resort". These were construction huts converted to the smallest of room/bathroom/shower. We were shocked when we drove up, everywhere else booked up or we would have left immediately! No resort facilities at all. Games room stuff only.
room amenities were basic and breakfast chose was minmal but the view made up all the flaws
We liked nothing about it. It was miles from anywhere, about 4 km from the main road on an unpaved track. The accommodation was in metal boxes which looked liked containers, only much smaller and inside it was very claustrophobic. There was no restaurant and we would have had to drive about 8 km each way to Coles Bay for a meal. We COULD not stay there and forfeited out paid-in-advance fee. Fortunately we managed to book into Freycinet Lodge, which was excellent, and which we thought we had booked into in the first place. The similarity in their names is very confusing and I wonder how many others have made this mistake. We would never recommend anyone to go to Freycinet / Resort / Retreat.
For the amount of money we spent for a nights stay we were disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised with the drive to the property with the beautiful signage and landmarks, however give it is a very slow 5+ kms off the main road the serious lack of options at the site was very disappointing.. No dinner service, nice but very small cabins which despite the amount of land of the property where very close together and no activities on site (a masseuse, a spa or something similar would have been amazing)
Nice view and comfortable room (minus leaky shower). Breakfast could be improved greatly given the cost of the room.
Great very off the beaten track, fantastic views. A quiet night sleep. You need to read up on the resort and what it is about, before you arrive. It was a shame we could only book for a single night. The region has plenty of walking and activities 2 or 3 nights would have been perfect.
