We loved staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we even got a few extras in our room which was very appreciated! The room was lovely and new, plenty of space and all the amenities that you’d need. The location is perfect too, we were able to walk everywhere. We really couldn’t rate highly enough, great stay!

Things were okay but there were items that just made a stay difficult. Shower head sprayed water everywhere cosmetic mirror fell off main mirror and they had a cleaning solution that was more like a cologne. All of these items were reported but nothing was done to fix.

Excellent hotel, excellent attentive workers. I don't know where they source these pillows, but they were among the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure to sleep on; the bed + pillows actually made us sleep more instead of exploring the beautiful city. Top notch house keeping. Nit picking: Shower door won't close all the way, the small gab is enough for water to seep through.

After researching many hotels for my first visit to Florence, I chose Hotel Spadai, a gem hotel just steps from the Duomo. I could have stayed at elsewhere, but Hotel Spadai exceeded my expectations in room amenities, complimentary features, and location. My room overlooked the cobble-stone streets where I could see the Christmas tree on the piazza.
