Old style and dated hotel, but clean and comfortable. When the windows were closed it shut out the noise of the trams, but it was too hot to close the windows. There was also something strange about the wi-fi, it gave access to google and youtube but hardly any other sites. But it was good value.

Convenient and clean basic hotel. Good service!
I needed a place to stay near the train station to bridge the night between a late soccer game and my train to work the next morning. Hotel Mondial was my choice due to its convenient location (7-walk to main train station) and price. Room was clean and comfortable, WiFi was good. I arrived after the reception had closed which was not a problem. I had called in advance and was able to pick up the front-door and room keys in a key safe outside the hotel upon arrival (after midnight). Very convenient and uncomplicated.
