It's the little things that make the difference.
The impact is all in the small details. The housekeeping staff was incredible! We returned from our excursion, and found that not only was the room perfectly clean and tidy, but they had even arranged my daughter's stuffed animal and extra pillow super cute on the bed, and had lined up my teenager's many pairs of shoes for her! The hot tub had plenty of fresh towels to use at the pool, and the beds were super comfy. The decor is adorable, too. This is an awesome, family-run inn that is perfect for an overnighter or a weekend getaway.
Separate bedroom.
Welcoming decor.
Each room has its own crest.
Even the outside is cute and welcoming.

Great!!
Snacks in room. Put both our rooms together as requested. Late checkout as needed. Very comfy and spacious rooms. Gave us a parking spot that accommodated our trailer that we were pulling

Cute Swiss motel but room temperature way too hot
The Swiss Alps Hotel is a cute motel reminiscent of by-gone days when travelers pulled off the interstate and stayed in one story accommodations and parked in front of your door. I stayed in many like this during the 60s and early 70s traveling with my parents. Everything seemed to be in relatively good condition and the room was large. When I checked in I had to call from a phone outside the office to get someone to come over. JJ came running over from the “Dairy Keen” next door. I was told they own both businesses and he was helping out there. This was JJ’s first day doing this job. He was very friendly and made sure he did everything right. He provided excellent customer service. The outdoor pool was closed, but the indoor hot tub was open and it was very relaxing. It looks like there used to be a sauna, but it is now just a closet for pool towels. The only problems I encountered was when trying to sleep. The room was extremely hot and I turned the heat all the way down to 50 degrees. Still some warm air kept coming out of the vent. The windows don’t open so I had to open the door occasionally to let some air in. It never did cool down enough to sleep comfortably. The motel is on a highway so there was quite a bit of noise from the trucks passing. Also the beds were very soft, actually sagging in the middle a bit. So I did not sleep well at all. This is too bad because everything else was very nice.

Cute little hotel
Cute little hotel in downtown Heber on the main highway. Room was very spacious, extremely clean and had microwave and refridge. Towels were of a very good quality. Loved the Dairy Keen restaurant next door. Great food and shakes. The down side was the the walls are pretty thin with little Sound insulation. The first 3 nights were great. The last 2 nights we had what appeared to be some young transient workers next door that kept me awake. It seemed like they had other friends come and go as well. The second night I went over and asked them to be quiet which they were. However, at 3:45 AM someone knocked loudly on either their door or ours and woke me up. Other than the noisy neighbors, it was a really nice place. Maybe they can remind customers of quiet hours? Guests? I did not mention this before we left as we left early in the morning. However, if management reads this maybe they can take steps to not take a reservation from this group in the future. I would definitely give them another try if I visit that area again as the room was super clean and spacious and everything else about it was great.

NOISE from the road - all. night. long. Killed some ANTS in the bathroom. Could be due to the 1/4 INCH GAP around the outside door. :( If you want a peaceful night's rest, this isn't the place.

The late night front desk staff was great and made it easy for us to get our room key at midnight. Cleanliness was not great. There was some trash in the bathroom trash, a stain on the sheets of one bed, and hair on the covers of the bed with the stained sheet. It was late and I did not complain on site. Sorry that I did not take photos of the trash, stain, or hair

Good location, fair price, but NO 2-Bed rooms.
The Hotel staff was super friendly, and the price was good compared to others i found while searching. However, the room was advertised as a 2 bedroom, and it absolutely is not a 2 bedroom. It is a 1 bedroom with a queen bed in the living room instead of a couch (which means if you spend any time in your room, you are always sitting on the bed, which is probably why that bed was so worn out and uncomfortable). Having a 2-bedroom was important to me, which is why i picked this property, but there wasn't much i could do once we arrived, as other options were no longer available. The location has it's ups and downs. It's easy to walk to lots of food/bars. You also have tandem trailers rolling by as you are right on Rt 40. If you are a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine. The hot tub was also broken for a large part of our stay. The best part of the location is being two doors down from the Dairy Keen, which is one of the best places i ate while on my trip. If you have little kids who like trains, it's a must for your trip. Overall, it was a good place to crash if you wanted a cheap place to sleep while skiing, but for my purposes of temporary housing for 3 weeks, it was not really what i expected.
