Cancelled my reservation
I didn't get to stay because the Baga beach resort cancelled my reservation. After both travelling from 9pm 28/12 from London Heathrow to finally arriving at the hotel 29/12 at 18:30 were both shattered and was tasked with having to source another hotel. An email was sent to me on 26/12 informing me that my reservation would be cancelled in 24hrs if full payment wasn't received but this email found it's way into my junk folder, l was told l was also called but didn't receive any call. The reason full payment was required was because the hotels PDQ machine wasn't working so wanted me to do a bank transfer to secure the reservation which l stressed at the time wasn't my fault, the booking policy stated payment on arrival and if one doesn't show full payment is taken from the card (PDQ machine was operational on arrival) this is standard booking through most hotel's/booking sites. This has been a very stressful time for both of us bringing my partner to tears on arrival to be told we had no reservation, that said they did ring around to source another hotel but this was only after persistence by us that they should do so.

If I could give a negative score I would!
Worst hotel I think I have ever stayed at, any by stay I mean the 3 hours it took us to argue with Expedia and hotel management and then find new accommodations! Location is down what seems like a dirty back alley with disgusting bars and clubs around it, I would never let me wife walk alone here at night! Some how after a terrible arrival experience at 5am, it got worse! Bloody and stained linen, mold throughout bathroom, what looked like blood or other bodily fluids on bedroom wall, disgusting floor and generally unsanitary bathroom. I would expect this from a $40 a night 2 or 3 star hotel but not a hotel that claims to be 4 star and priced closer to the $200 mark! Expedia were next to useless in helping us to try and resolve this matter and we left the hotel! We were told to contact the GM to ask for a refund, still waiting for a response to my email! I’m now taking it up with credit card company! While the pictures look nice and the grounds actually are nicely appointed even though they smell like faeces in the morning, do not stay here! Service and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired and I recommend staying elsewhere! I tried up loading photos but it kept failing!

Very Noisy although place
The location is good and bad both i.e. good in the sense that right on the beach and bad that one can not sleep as all those shacks will play loud music till 2 AM, typical Indian style, and back side there is also a disco or something and hotel is helpless and room are not sound proof, however police was helpful and they helped me. Staff is good but Manager is very rude as to my complaint call she did not respond.

Bad service but good property
The only problem with the hotel is the service and that's a major turn off. We had reached the hotel early and since the rooms were full, we could not get a early checkin and that's completely acceptable. However, a few guests checked out at 11:00 am and it took them 2 hours to clean the room and give it to us for checking in and we had to get drenched in rain. Also, the reception staff wasn't that cooperative. Further, the bed is not a king size bed.. it is 2 semi beds joined together and uncomfortable. However, the food is amazing. The location of the hotel is also very good and all the happening places are quite nearby. The property is well developed. The only problem is the pool which is very small and not properly maintained.
