Calypso Resort

Upon arrival we immediately noticed we paid significantly higher price by booking on hotels.com as the rate was only (xxx) instead of the price on hotels.com (xxxx) Then we were also not given the use of a free motorcycle to use while staying there so really using hotels.com for this booking was not good. The hotel didn’t have change to give us when we ordered drinks upon arrival and this was really disappointing. The pool the clean but quite small. Only 5 feet deep and about 10 feet by 20 feet. The location is a long walk away to alona and that’s okay but be aware the tricycle drovers will charge you 100 to 200 to get to alona so be aware that any extra money you saved by staying there, you will spend on getting to and from the resort. We have a truck that we drove so we can drive around but a motorcycle would really be a better option. Our room was three beds, no blanket, just a sheet, no soap and tooth brush and the towels were very low quality and didn’t dry us off after showering. There is no hot water so showers are cold. There is also no cups and hot water kettle in the room so that means no morning coffee unless you buy coffee at their restaurant. Also, outside food is not allowed at their restaurant so when you order food and bring it, make sure you eat it in your room or you will be charged 1000 php. Overall, this was an okay place to sleep but it seems like they really didn’t care about guest comfort. For just sleeping, it’s okay to stay here.

The wonderful customer service is the outstanding feature of the Calypso Resort.

This place has got great potential but unfortunately left us feeling a little disappointed. The whole resort including the room, bathroom and garden area are very tired and need updating.

Very pleased with my stay after a horrible experience at last place Refreshing pool only had a fan but was ok Loved the hammock on my porch A free scooter for a few hours was a bonus Would recommend I like to walk ao i didnt mind it was out a bit

The quality of the rooms is poor. The location of the hotel is miles from Alona Beach (thank goodness they offer the use of mopeds for your stay). The place is generally run down and not good value for money.

Die Familie die das "Hotel" betreibt ist super nett. Aber aus dem Bad stank es so fürchterlich, dass wir nachts aufgewacht sind und es einem schlecht wurde.

No door tobalcony but only curtain. No glass window but only curtain. No ceiling but only roof so that prenty of space between wall and roof. So many mosquito many caterpillar clime up on face during sleeping sooo many ants　many Lizard sit on bed. There is No mosquito net. worst room I ever had. I complained, but worker nor owner never say sorry but if I want mosquito net or change room, pay 500 peso more. I don't think they have natural heart to welcome customer with hospitarity. I don't think this room is good for charge money. I want refund from EXPEDIA, if EXPEDIA think this room does not qualify to worth to charge money to customer. I think this room never ever qualify

とてもいい人達でした

В пешей доступности от отеля пляж Данао. Но если хотите попасть на пляж Алона, нужно ехать на мопеде или трицикле. Мопед предоставляется отелем бесплатно на все время проживания при наличии водительских прав. Также бесплатно можно поиграть в бильярд, настольный теннис, бадминтон. Есть кафе, кормят вкусно и не дорого. Хороший сигнал вай-фай только в кафе, в номере его почти нет. В душе холодная вода, нет водонагревателя. В общем, отель подойдет непритязательным путешественникам, искателям приключений!:)
