The parking is lousy! The double tier parking is not just inconvinient but also risky. Electricity tripped off while i was getting ready to attend a function. The hair dryer which was attached to the power point caused it when i switched it on. The deposit of RM50 collection was so back dated. They dont accept any other form of payment other than cash. Like come on, we are in 2022. At least a QR payment ? What if you have customer's checking in middle of night and have no cash or credit card. You expect them to walk to the nearest bank? Cititel used to be one of the good service provider but the standards has terribly gone down. Do something according to the evolution.

Always a pleasant stay here, hotel rooms are clean with in-room movie channels. Staffs are friendly and always greet with a smile, security guards too! Plus point, water pressure is great! Only downside, no fridge/chiller in the room.

Checking in is strictly at 3pm and registration process is rather slow. But otherwise this hotel is value for money located in the quiet part of old town close to Concubine Street and Ipoh Padang/Birch Memorial Clock. Grab car takes you anywhere in Ipoh at low cost.

Good location, clean, lots of movies to watch
The hotel is situated right at a cross junction. There is a 7-11 directly below the hotel, which is great when you need to get stuffs urgently.. The hotel is easily walkable to nearby eateries as well as train station if luggage is not too heavy. Love the huge selection of movies on the TV. Will probably not get enough time to finish watching all the shows.

limited parking - but still ok during off peak. having sink block during stay - but the issue is clear after i had made a call . walkable around the tourist attractions. temporary no free bus service which point deducted.
