Location location location
Well... if you're looking for beachfront this isn't for you but I'm sure you got 2 legs so you'll be ok. The walk to the beachfront is only 2 minutes away and you're away from the insanity which is pretty nice. The staff here are fantastic and helpful! Rooms are nice and for once, free conditioner....what a concept

West Bay Lodge is an amazing place to stay and the customer service by Melony and Celeste was amazing!! Communication prior to the trip was fantastic, and they easily rescheduled the shuttle for our delayed flight. Easily arranged a same day request for a rental car for us. Great customer service, amazing location, and fantastic room!

Celeste and her staff and wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The chef does a great job in the kitchen and Winston the waiter was very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are just the right size and have a few items in the kitchen to prep small meals if you wish. The rooms were clean with a nice layout. We even had an issue with our booking (no fault of theirs) but they helped us out and set it straight without any issues. The parrots and the cats on the property are a nice touch that my kids spent hours petting and playing with. The pool is small but it was big enough for my kids to swim in and cool down. The beach is a short 5 min walk down the road across from the lodge. Its nice that the lodge isn't on the beach as the beach can be very packed and noisy. Overall this is a great place to stay. Celeste does work with the community and helps stray animals which is one of the things that drew us to her place. We would stay here again without a doubt.

The property is beautiful with a tropical garden surrounding each cabin. We were happy to have a fridge and coffee maker. There was a burner and cookware too but we loved the restaurant at the hotel and others surrounding it too. It is far enough off the main beach to be peaceful but close enough that going back and forth to the beach isn't a burden. Beach towels are available too. Very friendly personalized attention from staff. I could tell it was place where regulars come back year after year.
