Lovely family b&b
Location is out of the way, but this is in the countryside and we were expecting it so it was so lovely. Great views. Communal area which is similar to living room is massive and spacious, with views into the pond and countryside. Breakfast cooked for you at whatever time you order it for, as long as it’s by 10am. Staff were lovely and laidback. The only issue we had is when we arrived we were told to pay for our stay but I had said I had already paid. He had to double check this and I showed him proof before it was all ok. But then it turns out he wasn’t in charge of reception, he was the chef and he was just trying to get us checked in. So it didn’t impact our overall experience. Very chilled and laidback. Recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the busy city life and be welcomed in by a lovely family.

Quiet location with lovely views
More like visiting an Aunt and Uncle than a B&B ! A surprisingly huge lounge . Shame we were only there for one night.

Poor
Dishonest and underhanded. Cannot recommend.
We arrived at Anna's House only to be told that our reservation had been cancelled, about 3 months ago! I tried to show them my hotels.com account on my tablet to prove that the booking was still live but they were not interested, and also mentioned that I had received an email only a few days before to confirm the reservation. The whole situation was rather unpleasant and can only think that Anna's House had accepted another booking, for all 4 of their rooms, from another stream but without bothering to inform us, and contrary to their claim that they had in fact cancelled our booking. Even though they received no confirmation from us regarding the cancellation, which would be rather difficult (or should I say impossible) as we never received anything from them or from hotels.com, they went ahead and cancelled anyway leaving us in a very difficult and potentially dangerous situation. To add insult to injury they applied for a pre authorisation charge totalling 30% of the total fee payable on arrival, two days ahead of our check in - if this had been cancelled then how would this be possible! Whether this is incompetence or a complete lack of regard for someone else's plans and welfare it has left a very sour taste in my mouth. Please be cautious as my gut feeling is dishonesty and underhand behaviour rather than human error. The Old Schoolhouse just outside of Comber were able to offer us a room for the night - we had a pleasant evening and this I can recommend.

Very sweet
Beautiful views from this country home. Elderly couple who runs it are very sweet and attentive. Brought us tea when we arrived and wanted to chat with us. We definitely felt like we were in someone's home versus a hotel. When my sister went downstairs, one of the couple would always appear to ask if she wanted anything. Breakfast was very delicious and freshly made for us. You have to drive to go out to dinner.

Hjemmekoselig opphold på den engelske landsbygda.
Særdeles koselig vertskap. Veldig smakfull hjemmelaget typisk engelsk frokost. En nydelig hage. Vi følte oss veldig godt mottatt.
