I was surprised! Newly refurbished great m location with fab view from the third floor. However given 2 stars - I would certainly put it up to 3. I have stayed at 4 star places that have been worse!

A simple hotel in the heart of Belem
A simple hotel in the heart of Belem. A short walk to a lot of excellent restaurants and cafes and good connection to public transportation.

Pre Christmas trip and loved the street decoration
On a short break exploring the local area. Main visits were the Kings Adjuda Palace, botanic gardens in Adjuda, Maritime Museum, and very lucky to see the daily training of the horses at the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, absolutely a must. Will do it again. Surrounding parks lovely for evening walks and lots of eating out.
