2 Dirty Rooms
My stay disappointed me highly. I visit Charlotte often and the Springhill Suites is the only hotel I book. It’s convenient and clean. However, this stay was for my birthday which was also on Valentine’s Day. Booked for 3 days. The room was absolutely not clean. First room, the bathroom wasn’t clean. There was hair all over the shower and bathroom sink. Moved to another room and that one was even worse. The bathroom had hair all over, sink not wiped down, toilet still had dried feces in it. With all of that , I was skeptical if the sheets were even changed. I soon saw black specks in between the covers which I thought we bugs. Once looked closer it was tobacco pieces; the wrapping was still in the bed. Cups were not restocked and there wasn’t an ice bin. The front desk only offered to keep changing rooms. Very disappointed that my birthday turned out how it did in the beginning from a beautiful hotel with two rooms dirty.

Good spot!
There was no actual hand soap in the room, the lighting in the room was poor, but other than that it was a nice stay.

I like that the hotel was downtown. Close to a lot of restaurants. What I didn't like was the cleanliness of the hotel. In the bathroom there was hair everywhere! The bathroom in general was awful. The sink doesn't drain well. The way the room is setup the bathroom is located in the middle of the room with a sliding door. When you're in the bathroom people in the room can hear you. The room is not well lit. The beds are not comfortable. Overall I wouldn't stay here again.

Nice hotel next to train tracks
Our room was very clean. The layout was odd in reference to the placement of the TV so it wasn't easy to view. The beds were comfortable, but we did not sleep well due to the regularly scheduled trains so there was loud chiming every 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel itself was in a location good for walking to restaurants and the museum. Parking is either $20 for self-parking in a public garage or $28 for valet with in/out privileges.
