We had never stayed in Honfleur but heard great things. There is no better place to stay there than the Dauphin. It is is the middle of everything! The room we had was beautiful! It was actually an apartment! The staff was above a and beyond friendly and nothing was ever an issue! They know how to take care of people! They made us feel very welcome. We will recommend this place to everyone and we can not wait to come back for another stay there.

This hotel was the most uncomfortable hotel we stayed at due to no air conditioning and a heat wave in the area in August 2022. The room was sweltering. I realize it’s an old hotel and was thankful we were provided with a fan, but perhaps we could have been offered cold water to try and cool down. Otherwise, the location cannot be beat and the staff was great. We were provided with excellent food recommendations and they even carried our luggage up the stairs to our room while we parked the car. We did not purchase the breakfast but I wish we would have because it was challenging finding decent breakfast nearby.
