Still reliable and good hotel in shinjuku.
We have been staying in this hotel for years. Good location, very good breakfast, decent sized room and toilet. Staff knows some English and helpful.

Not my first choice hotel
First night was terrible. They gave me a room next to a vending machine. Whilst convenient to have a drinks vending machine on every floor, the doors do not insulate the constant loud humming sound from the vending machine ( like that of an old fridge). I requested for a room change which they obliged. The rooms are not as clean as similar 3 star hotels in Japan like APA Shinjuku Gyoenmae nearby. But the pillows are better. The bathroom is strange even by Japanese standard. The toilet bowl is so small, you can hardly fit on top. This is by far the smallest toilet bowl I have sat on in Japan. Probably the worst hoteI I have stay in Tokyo this year (and this was my 4th trip to Japan and fourth hotel this trip). The area is great for late night food given it’s location in Kabukicho. It is slightly tucked away from the main noisy drag, so still relatively quiet. Japan is safe anywhere. It is located next to a hospital. The train station is not close by, but if you go in cooler months, the 10-15 min walk to Shinjuku station is still pleasant, even with luggage - Japanese walk ways are generally wheelchair friendly. Try to check out Shinjuku station if you are planning on taking the Narita Express. The trains in Japan are ALWAYS on time and they wait for no one. Shinjuku station is massive with many complicated entrances so you might want to find out earlier which path to take and which entrance is luggage friendly. Be careful going to wrong station (also called Shinjuku station).

Extremely small room hotel
The double room and toilet is extremely small which can’t accommodate 2 pax which is more suitable for single stay. Location is far from Shinjuku Station which is around 20mins walk.
