Excelente hotel para descansar muy cerca de CDMX
Mi esposa y yo nos fuimos de escapada de aniversario y la pasamos muy a gusto en el hotel. La llegada es un poquito complicada pero vale la pena porque el hotel está en una zona alejada del bullicio del centro de Tepoztlán pero lo suficientemente cerca para ir a comer o cenar al pueblo (unos 10-15 minutos). Lo mejor del hotel son las instalaciones, la alberca está acondicionada con camastros y unas camas en la alberca que son muy cómodas y uno puede pasar mucho tiempo relajándose ahí y disfrutando la vista del Tepozteco. También tuvimos un masaje relajante en el spa que superó las expectativas. La comida en el restaurante estaba muy rica aunque sentimos que le falta expandir un poco más el menú... para nuestro 3er día ya nos había cansado un poco. Nuestro cuarto (Huerto) no está para nada mal, pero la verdad sí esperábamos un poco mejor considerando el precio que pagamos. Falta poner unas cortinas blancas para no tener que cerrar las cortinas black out pero tener más privacidad por la ventanas. En general fue una muy buena experiencia y seguro regresaríamos.

The place is amazing, outstanding service with great food options, but be aware some rooms have no air conditioner and this is not stated or duly informed during the booking process. During our stay we couldnt sleep well because of lack of A/C

Enjoyable stay
It was an overall 4/5 stay. Place was very nice... no TV in room, so after 10pm when everything is closed in that town it can get boring. One thing I found odd is once my wife and I would leave the room, the staff would go in and leave us notices or pick up things without our approval. It was overall relaxing. Staff was attentive, food okay.

“Paraíso” room, not so much as in paradise...
The room had no privacy since it was located right in front of the restaurant and next to the pool. We were unable to open the shades and the room did not have enough lamps, so basically we were in the dark. The worst room in the hotel for sure. When requested to move, the hotel offered another room far from the pool and the main area. It was the only room available within the rate.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds are AMAZING ! ... during our 3 month stay in Mexico, I had the best sleeps here at Amomoxtli ! ... wonderful. We send thanks again to all of the staff who so kindly looked after us at every turn. Do not hesitate to book this hotel. We'll be back next year ! ...
