Wonderful place is first time isn't. Recepition was excellent thought, bedroom amazing. Bed was great comfort, but is feathers pillows no good comfort to sleep. Due to allengy health safety by nhs. I put lot of towels onto pillow, then let sleepwell. But is too late to asked recepition call it is. Next morning, I made my own food... I cannot feel amazing this place isn't! I trust be return again sometime. That's lovely hotel. What a die for!... (Oh dear!!!) 😄👍

We stayed for 1 night when in Scotland for a family funeral. The hotel was excellent, mainly due to the very friendly and helpful staff. They recommended local takeaways and provided room service for drinks, so we couldn't have asked for better given the current restrictions. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with cereal and hot rolls. The hotel can also give a discount code for the car park which was just across the street. Many thanks!

I arrive 35 mins early and asked to check in stating that I had had eye surgery 30 mins ago and my vision was a blur and I needed to lie down. Asked. I was asked if I had a Hilton Club membership as early check in was a a benefit for them I hadn’t so I was asked to sit in reception for 35 mins until 3pm check in. As the room was ready I feel given my obvious distress with patches over both eyes that an exception should have been made .

Nice hotel, present staff although a little understaffed in the current climate of COVID and restrictions . The hotel in the public areas always seemed to be quite cold with no sign of anyone wanting to put the heating on to warm it up for the few guest they had . Overall though it’s a really nice clean tidy very well looked after hotel .the menu is very limited at the moment which is quite surprising as I have a colleague staying in another hotel of the same group Hampton by Hilton 8 miles away and they have a better menu with more choice

This is an excellent choice for a city centre hotel. Comfortable and pristine room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Convenient parking in multi story opposite. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy work to the shops and restaurants. Have always had great experiences with Hampton Inns. This certainly met our expectations.
