Fantastic hotel. You won’t be dissappinted.
This was a last minute booking and I’m so glad we stayed there. I was travelling with my elderly mother to show Europe to her and we wanted to go to the Harz mountains. This was so close and convenient. Lovely medieval style town and the hotel could not have been better placed in the town. Fabulous friendly reception. The cleanest room I have seen in a hotel for a long time, quiet with an outlook onto a beautiful small garden. Wonderful comfortable bed and amazing shower. Breakfast was continental; plenty of it, filling, fresh and tasty. A huge bowl of fruit was there as well; with kiwi, grapes etc not just cheap apples. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. As for amenities I’d perhaps take a travel kettle to make coffee in the room but with so much around to do little time is spent in the room. WiFi works brilliantly so good for business as well as social stays. In short this was a really nice little hotel, great service, great breakfast, fabulous bed and shower and spotlessly clean. I love it. Thank you so much for everything Hotel Kaiserhof.

We left partially satisfied.
It is a 3 star hotel in an old building very, very close to the altstad. The main disadvantage is there is no lift although the staff is ready to assist with the luggage. We had to climb three staircases to our room at the 2nd floor. Parking is ok and if overcrowded there is the public parking at a cost just behind the hotel - I think there is no cost between 20.00 and 10.00 overnight. Adequate breakfast with the usual stuff, nothing special to remember. Recomended? Yes, if you are a climber.
