Location was good near the train and town centre. The room was comfortable shower was not very powerful but managed to get wet. The staff were really friendly and helpful, despite it being busy both days i was there. Breakfast was good but limited choice of hot food if you;re veggie. Very tired decoration and facilities. Bedsheets were clean, which is good, but under the bed was extremely dirty (I dropped something and had to look under the bed). There was a loud machine noise that shook the doors at times throughout the night, which meant it was not possbile to have a good sleep - some kind of huge air-con or heating fan apparently that whirred up and down irregularly. Staff were nice and tried to help, but if you can't have a good sleep then that's a significant problem. Value was OK however, and breakfast was included. Car park on site is very useful and well located, but you have to pay extra to use it even if you are a guest.

Excellent check in and greeting from reception. Room was adequate, if stuck in the 80’s but shower pressure was dreadful. Also shower is over the bath so be aware of this if you have mobility issues. Parking is good but a 24 hour fee of £5 has been introduced, partly redeemable at the hotel bar. Breakfast was good
