Staying at the Gaol was an experience. Learning about the Gaol's history from the wonderful posters around & seeing the cells & other areas was an eye opener especially for our 6 year old Granddaughter. Plenty of creature comforts without the huge price tag.

Who else pay to stay at the jail? How cool is this
We were welcomed by the lovely owner James and his family. Very secured courtyard for the kids to play and run. Centrally located position with great railway playground just few minutes away. Great history to the accommodation.

When office is unmanned, good to have extra info on shared facilities, locations etc A sign on the chapel door indicating it was a lounge area and kitchen would have been useful. A good experience nonetheless.
