W Punta de Mita

Spent 4 nights including New Year’s Eve 2021 and it was AMAZING! Great variety and quality of the food, comfortable and relaxing amenities, world class spa and modern rooms. The best part, the attention and service of the staff; outstanding.

The stay was very disappointing for a W hotel. The rooms we very very small to start with. Then the water was very cold in the showers. We asked them multiple times to come check and fix the water and they either would not show up or when they did there was nothing they could do about the water. They just kept saying it was the best they could do. When we asked to switch rooms they said they couldn’t accommodate that. The service throughout the stay was so poor. It took forever to get anything. When we ordered it would take 30 min before they came back. Anytime we asked to be accommodated the answer was always no. They did nothing to make up for their lack of functioning facilities.

This property does not disappoint. Like most W properties it’s gorgeous and well appointed. No detail is missed in the design and aesthetic. The food and cocktail selection is exceptional. In addition, there are so many great promos for poolside cabanas, drinks, spa services which was a nice treat! The service from check in to departure was excellent. We especially loved the fresh to order seafood at the smaller pool and the surf is great. We loved our room and it was so comfortable. Would def return!

The resort is divine! We even extended our trip by 5 days to continue to stay! The staff is wonderful and accommodating, the resort is fantastic. There are very comfortable taxis available to take you to town. Punta de Mita is a very quiet town, mostly resorts, so be ready to really relax and chill. You must try their churro dessert (room service of course! I would recommend a better selection of more recent music for the DJ at the pool however.

Great stay! Perfect location to social distance, with amazing food and service. Concierge Alejandra was amazing and all the pool and beach servers are there to make your experience the best!

Very clean. Staff was amazing, nice and very accommodating. Beautiful property and it being on a nice beach to swim at, was perfect. Definitely will be back.

Our vacation at Punta De Mita was everything that we expected from the W Hotel and their staff. The staff was very friendly and offered great hospitality along with extra precautionary measures to ensure cleanliness during the pandemic. Upon arrival you get the feeling of being in Bali with all of the greenery and warm tropical weather. We checked in and we were immediately greeted with a refreshing drink and shuttled to our private room overlooking a nice lagoon and beach. The rooms are unattached to each other so you sort of get the feel of a Bungalow type room. The W Hotel offers plenty of amenities from pools, gym, spa, various restaurants and activities to keep you busy throughout your stay. Overall we had a great experience, the live music and DJ near the poolside provided a good vibe throughout the night. I have to say that the ceviche at the Chevycheria was the best we’ve ever had! The Spice Market offered a pretty good Asian culinary experience as well so the food options were pretty much what we had expected. What also made the overall experience great was their staff; Hector, Karla, and Daniel to name a few made you feel at home and they were always very attentive in making sure you were taken care of. We will definitely come to Punta De Mita to visit the W Hotel again in the near future. This resort gets a 5 star rating for the overall experience, amenities, awesome staff and cleanliness.
