My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay at Princess Wharf, although we both agreed with a little bit of investment the property could become sensational. It has the location and the wow factor, but felt very tired. A new bed and bedding would go a long way to improving the travellers’ experience. And no coffee, either pods or sachets, was a complete letdown. We didn’t have any soap in the shower either.

Front door does not lock properly - easy to fix just needs to be screwed in properly. No parking included. $20 for 12hrs. Lovley outside area, fantastic having laundry in the unit. Lound, kitchen, bedroom all very nice. There was food (half eaten) left in the fridge but that took 2 seconds to throw away. The noise outside with party goers, extremly loud cars racing up amd down the driveway was the qorst. But extremly convienant location.

Great location and a cosy, homely feel.
My fiancé flew in Christmas morning from Los Angeles and they were so accommodating allowing us to check in early which is very appreciated. The place was clean, had everything you need. . . appliances, extra towels and pillows and the place has beautiful all day sun. The location is perfect and away from the noise the viaduct can bring. Very safe and secure, I will definitely stay here again.

Awesome property! Was able to leave our luggage for an extra couple of hours, lots of extra little amenities which was awesome. The area is a little loud but that’s expected due to the area and no fault of the hosts at all.

The key instructions were very easy and the property in a very nice location. The only snag was that it opened on to the road which was quite busy with residents walking and normal chat, but with the windows open it was a bit disconcerting. FWIW Ear plugs were provided in the bathroom. There was a lovely balcony too.

The property was clean in a safe area and transportation was close by. Maybe user could not figure out the heat pump to get the hearting up. Also the passwords did not work for Netflix so we used our own. Other than those two things everything was good.

Finding the key is a rocket science so many instructions given. The elevator was broken so I have to walk a bit with my heavy bags and the place is one door away from the end of the hallway. Then you have to remember the keypad all the time to put it in. Place was nice, clean and modern.

A bit of a rocky start when the check-in email didn't come through, but I was able to contact someone who helped work that through- most of the directions were good except they sent me to the wrong floor but I was able to figure that out on my own fairly easily. The property was great, awesome location, really quiet, super easy parking and the parking discount code was great too! (The PILLO one is $10 cheaper than WAIHEKESPEC as of August 2023) Would stay again, would just make sure the check-in email was there before I left!

The property is close to the essentials (shop/sights/ferry) which makes it a good place to stay. The facilities are basic ( no gym/pool etc. my main gripe is parking. It is impossible to park there (costly at $16/h) and some areas are blocked off when cruises comes in. Even parking for a few minutes to get luggage to/from vehicle was an issue! We had to negotiate a fifteen minute “free”park to offload our luggage.

Underwhelming
Amazing location, but that’s about where it ended for me. The place has potential to be beautiful, but fell a bit short. There was a very strange musty smell throughout the apartment. The furnishings were all very low budget and tired, more what you’d expect to find in a hostel rather than a “boutique apartment” Towels and linens were just in a messy pile in a closet, and were very low quality. Shower wasn’t very clean. Just very underwhelming and disappointing. It ticked the box for what I needed, but I wouldn’t be rushing back any time soon. Primo location doesn’t outweigh all the shortcomings for me.
