Understaff and outdated facilities
Overall- the service was way understaff, the bathroom is outdated with mold, and the room was not clean.
Here is my full experience below.
I am a VIP member, and purchased an all-inclusive package for my three night stay. The benefits of being a VIP member are- early and late checkout, and a free upgrade. When I arrived at the hotel at 1pm I asked if I could have an early check in and an upgrade since I am a VIP member, and they said no and nothing was available. So that was fine, and I waited.
The room was not clean. The coffee and tea counter in the room was sticky, every single day. There were ants in the room. The shower had mold in corners and pieces were falling a part.
With the inclusive package, you are supposed to get unlimited drinks and food. But it was very time specific- everything was shut down by 9:30pm. When you order food, there would always be just one or two staff taking your order, and they don't come back to get you another drink or another order. Breakfast didn't have much options either. Several times, there were drinks or dishes on the menu that were not available, further limiting the all inclusive package.
The furnitures in pool area were always dirty. On second day, manager came up to me and told me it was slow season, and that there were tons of rooms available for an upgrade and early check in and apologized that it wasn't given to me when I checked in. So I left the hotel and checked out a day early.
