The room was comfortable for a studio but only one chair, and the sound of the lift stopping and going was very loud especially early morning when trying to sleep in. Was also disappointed that as a gold member did not receive an upgrade. Staff friendly and helpful although was initially given the wrong room and had to be moved.

Mixed bag of a stay
My stay was a bit of a mixed bag. On arrival I was put in a room with a view of a brick wall, so the fabulous Angel on reception sorted me out and gave me the choice of two other room. I truly appreciated her being so helpful and accommodating. I then had a relatively comfortable few days. The bed being two singles did mean there was a bit of a dip in the middle, but it was mostly fine. I then had recurrent wifi issues and as I was there to try and work it was frustrating to constantly not have the bandwidth for zoom meetings, as well as Netflix. It just kept dropping in and out - despite trying the two options they gave me. Other frustrations included paying an increased rate over the weekend only to be told on Sunday night that my room hadn’t been cleaned as ‘there was no cleaning on a Sunday’ and also asking for a late checkout due to the late hours I was working. Only to be given an extra hour and then woken up at 10am regardless with cleaning knocking on my door. There was also a bit of outside noise with the ground level room I was in - but I understand that’s not the fault of the hotel. Also a slight ant issue in my room - despite me not leaving any food lying around. Overall a mixed bag and I just wish that the staff is asked about the late checkout, wifi issues and cleaning had been as helpful and polite as Angel had been.

Super apartment in great location!
Great location by rail station and easy stroll into town and Bathers Beach etc. Friendly reception check in. Room, bathroom and kitchen area were super clean. Bed linen was immaculate- nice white crisp cotton. Spare pillows were good as my daughter likes an extra pillow. Great to have milk in fridge( which was restocked daily) coffee-including ground coffee for cafetière. Towels were clean and also replenished every day as were the complimentary toiletries ( nice quality) Would have happily stayed longer and would book again when in Freo.
