Ok hotel for the money
The hotel is more like a 3 star. Comparing to the price, it’s pretty decent to stay. I stayed there for three nights. Checking process was smooth and quick. Getting the elevator is quite a deal. Their elevators are small and slow. During the prayer times, it takes time. They had shuttle bus to/ from Haram every hour round the clock, which is a positive side. Sometimes if you just missed it because it left 5 min early than scheduled time, there is another hotel besides it within 2 min walk, you can catch their shuttle. People in the reception was friendly and helpful, but they are not good in English communication. Breakfast is disappointing. Other than that the price I paid for, I was happy for my room comfort and overall stay.

Worst hotel and service ever!
First of all on the website, it says hotel is 15 min walk from masjid al haram, FALSE! More like an hr or more because it's not walking distance at all. It's about 7 km away. Second, you ask for water, you have to pay. Third, I called for room service, they said 15 mins they'll b up to take the order. 15 mins turned into 30 and when I gave up I went to sleep and they came like an hour later and I was so done with it. To try and get the elevator was the most impossible thing ever! Every time we waited like 10-15 mins for the elevator to come up and down. And there's no common sense as to over load. Everyone just jumps in and all u hear is the beeping for over load warning. The window in the room was broken and stayed open the whole time which was annoying because on the other side, there was some sort of construction. WORST of all and MOST DISAPPOINTING, there wasn't once that I heard the adhan for prayer. I can't believe I was staying in the holy city and couldn't hear one adhan. I had to keep the tv on all day to hear prayers I couldn't make at the masjid. Absolutely worst! Never again especially that it wasn't cheap!!!!

Budget hotel, far from Haram.
Good thing, free WiFi in the rooms. Not so good, far from Haram, bus shuttle service is once in an hour and not reliable. Room I stayed in was small but ok for 2 people to relax. Given the low price for 2 nights I stayed (March 2017), can not complain much.

Overall was a good hotel but was let down by wifi not sorted till the day we left. Also not near haram. They do a free hourly bus service to NEAR haram and return to hotel.
