Convenience is about all you can say for this motel, as it's literally across the street from the park's entrance. Other than that, it's an old, run down motel with a decent restaurant. The type of motel you'd expect in a small, rural town. Obviously, with the pandemic, everywhere is hurting. But the parking lot looks like it's needed resurfacing for at least 5 years, the mattresses and pillows could have been replaced 8 years ago, and the whole motel could use some serious remodeling. A 20" TV attached to the wall, really? If you're looking for something nicer with decent amenities, either get a room at the Blackwater Lodge, if you can get one, or stay about 30 miles away in Elkins.
