Good for one nighters
The place itself was lovely! I think people only stay one night as it more of a car park for Gatwick. I stayed 4 nights for work so didn’t get any sleep as people were coming in and out at all times of the night and wasn’t quite about it. It’s more of a car drop off get a few hours then off on holiday and if I was doing that it would be perfect. But not to go there for more than one night if you want to sleep.

Great place and easy transport to Gatwick airport
We only stayed in Hookwood Lodge for a short night before catching a very early flight from Gatwick airport. Check in was very easy and the room was clean and comfortable. We arranged transport to the airport and the driver was very punctual. We couldn't ask for more. We'll definitely stay there again if we book another early flight

Good if you have a car and are fit.
The room was nice. It was clean and comfortable. I didn’t see any staff at all. Key was left in a basket for me and it was all do it yourself. It would be a great place to stay if you had a car. 15 pound from the airport for a very short trip by taxi seemed a rip off. Luckily the hotel offers a 10 pound rate for the return in the morning. The morning transfer was great. seamless and friendly. If you are older or with a disability I wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you have luggage as there are very steep stairs you have to lug your bags up with no assistance. I injured myself doing this and nearly fell down the stairs. If you are young and fit this wouldn’t be a problem.
