4/10 Fair

Very friendly staff but my en suite accommodation had a bathroom across a corridor from my bedroom. Not en suite at all. The spring interior mattress had seen better days and several springs were coming to the surface and could be felt as one lay down. The in room wi fi did not work at all. The breakfast was really good but there was a long delay in processing my card so that I could pay my bill. The first attempt was wrong, it was not enough. The subsequent attempt took an age.

Hotel with handy location.
Large complex with hotel offering a few rooms. Friendly and helpful welcome. Room and bed rather small but tea/ coffee facilities. Bathroom opposite on other side of corridor. I was perturbed when In the bathroom 2 men ( from voices) trying to access this private area with our bathroom items there. Hotel good selection of beers and on site 3 restaurants, the hotel, Chinese and Indian. We frequented the Indian which was excellent. Hotel good location not far from jct 13 of the M5 and attractions such as Slimbrdge 10/15 minutes away

Absolute pleasure
Great hotel could have stayed another night, staff were brilliant could do enough. Room with perfect for us bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, the linen and towels were fresh and clean.

Great for the price particularly good parking and a decent breakfast in with the price. Very happy with the stay. Low rent but very good for what was paid.
