I had stayed in that place a few years ago and it was beautiful, I stayed for one night now and it was terrible, there is no parking if you drive, the room dirty sheets, dirty walls, items in the room dirty and in poor condition, uncomfortable bed , quite an uncomfortable stay

The hotel is located in a prime location, walking distance to many restaurants. I had to knock on the door and wait for someone to open to be allowed inside. The hotel employee seemed surprised to see I was staying there. Be aware, children are not allowed. I was traveling with my 10 year nephew and was told upon arrival that children are not allowed, but was given an exception for a $10 nightly fee. I was not a huge fan of the aesthetic of the hotel. Hotel is very clean and well kept, but the lights are very dim and dark and the decor made me feel like I was in a Spanish cathedral/church. Room was spacious and bed was large and comfortable. However, we had an issue with the bathtub. The tub was removable tub and it was disconnected from the drain underneath, causing massive water leakage when we took a shower. We were offered a dirty mop with no gloves to clean up the water mess.

Beautiful Hotel room, and my room cozy and simple. I had the room with a balcony view facing the street. Nightlife quickly dies down after 1:AM, I slept well here, and the air conditioning is excellent. If I was to return to Santo Domingo I indefinitely would return to this hotel. They also serve breakfast, smells real good, yet I’m a day sleeper. I’m satisfied.
