Great owbers and staff, great location.
We enjoyed our stay at the Girasol very much. It is very professionally run, the owners and staff are very helpful in arranging tours and taxis. The staff is super friendly and make you feel so welcome and very much at home. We had our breakfasts and two dinners at the hostal (note: there is an extra charge for these, as is usual everywhere in such lodgings in Cuba) and they were very good. The hostal is a short walk to the Cathedral and central square, and to the Casa Granda hotel with its beautiful rooftop terrace, which we recommend for a snack or drink, especially at sunset. We had a room on the ground floor which was a bit small and faced the courtyard so we kept the window shut much of the time for privacy.

Hotes attentionnés, bon petit déjeuner. Pas d'entrée privative, mais quand on séjourne chez l'habitant c'est ce qu'on cherche ! La maison est bien située, le rapport qualité-prix est bon.

Wie zu Hause in Santiago
Wir haben uns im casa particular Girasol spontan wohlgefühlt. Mit offenen Armen wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Unsere Fragen und Anmerkungen wurde direkt aufgenommen und unsere Anliegen, so z.B. die Reinigung der Wäsche, schnell und preisgünstig erledigt. Frühstück und Abendessen, welche auf der sehr schönen Dachterrasse eingenommen wurden, waren umfangreich und lecker. Da wir am zweiten Tag sehr früh abreisen mussten bekamen wir eine Lunchbox mit auf die Reise, die alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Sogar frisch gepresste Fruchtsäfte waren darin enthalten, -super, einmalig. Gerne kommen wir wieder!
