8/10 Very good

Quirky, authentic farmhouse
We stayed at this BnB for 2 nights and found it pleasant enough. It was very conveniently located near Peddlers Village which was the focus of our stay during a family event.
The property had a farm-like atmosphere which was pleasant. There was a very nice front porch with plenty of rocking chairs. However, noisy front road traffic.
The main farmhouse with 7 rooms has atmosphere but it is quite dated and in need of various updates and repairs. The layout is a bit quirky, just as you might expect an old farmhouse to be. We stayed in a room called The Buckingham, which had a little sitting room with an additional single bed, which our grown son slept in. There was no door between the room with the Queen bed and the single, which would have been more private, but it was adequate.
Jon, The Innkeeper, has his hands full, what with checking in guests, flipping the rooms, maintenance and preparing breakfasts.
The breakfast was very good! Fresh fruits, cereal, various breads, and he makes omelettes and eggs with meats on order in a communal breakfast area.
All in all, it was pleasant enough for a short stay. But if you are expecting plush accomodations, this might not be the right place for you.
